Frequently asked questions
- POWERNET LLC (PowerNet) is a system integrator based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, operating since 2020. We design, install, commission and support IT and low-voltage infrastructure for offices and organisations, from structured cabling and corporate networks to CCTV, access control, servers, information security and IP telephony. The company reports more than 200 successfully delivered projects, carried out by a team of certified specialists.
- PowerNet delivers ten service lines: data transmission systems (structured cabling, corporate LAN, Wi-Fi); turnkey low-voltage systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm); web development (corporate sites, portals, web apps); multimedia solutions and signal switching (conference rooms, video walls, sound); servers and storage systems (server hardware, SAN/NAS, virtualisation, server rooms); information security (firewalls, access control, security audit); IP telephony and call centers; IT consulting (infrastructure audit and IT planning); AI and automation; and mobile development (iOS and Android apps). All of them are available for projects in Tashkent, either as a single system or as one combined office IT build.
- PowerNet's office is at Mirzo Ulugʻbek 101, 100125, Tashkent, in the Mirzo Ulugʻbek district, and Tashkent is where most of our projects are delivered. If your site is in another region of Uzbekistan, call +998 99 897 02 02 or write to info@powernet.uz and we will confirm whether we can take on the work and on what terms.
- A turnkey project with PowerNet runs through the full cycle: site survey, design, equipment supply, installation, commissioning and handover, followed by support of the finished system. That applies to low-voltage systems such as CCTV, access control and fire alarm, and equally to structured cabling, server rooms, IP telephony and multimedia installations. The exact scope, deliverables and documentation for your object are fixed before work starts, so ask us to spell them out in the estimate.
- Send your request to info@powernet.uz, call +998 99 897 02 02, or write to @powernet.uz on Instagram, describing the object, its area and what you want to cover. The price of a CCTV, cabling, access control or server project depends on the number of points or cameras, cable routes, the class of equipment chosen and the amount of installation work, so an accurate figure comes after the site is assessed. Equipment and installation work are normally quoted as separate line items so you can see what you are paying for. The schedule is set from the same assessment and is fixed in the contract together with the handover stages.
- PowerNet builds solutions on equipment from Microsoft, HP, Dell, Lenovo, MikroTik, Bosch, Huawei, Ubiquiti, Yealink, Bolid, Hikvision and Legrand. In practice that means Hikvision and Bosch for video surveillance, Bolid for alarm and security systems, MikroTik, Ubiquiti and Huawei for networks and Wi-Fi, HP, Dell and Lenovo for servers and storage, Yealink for IP telephony and Legrand for cable infrastructure. If your existing estate is already standardised on one of these vendors, tell us and we will design around it.
- Yes. PowerNet's working languages are Russian, Uzbek and English, so international companies, foreign-invested firms and representative offices setting up in Tashkent can run a project in English from first enquiry to handover. Write to info@powernet.uz in English and you will be answered in English.
- Yes — turnkey low-voltage systems are one of PowerNet's ten service lines, covering CCTV, access control (ACS) and fire alarm systems. Fire-safety work is a regulated activity in Uzbekistan and the approvals required depend on the scope: design, installation and commissioning are treated differently. It is a fair question to put to any contractor before signing. For a defined scope PowerNet will confirm in writing which approvals apply and whether they are covered in-house or through a specialist partner.
- Yes. PowerNet supplies server hardware and SAN/NAS storage systems, implements virtualisation and builds and equips server rooms, working with HP, Dell, Lenovo and Huawei hardware. Information security is a separate service line, so firewalls, access control and a security audit can be scoped into the same project rather than bought separately later.
- Yes. Multimedia solutions and switching is one of PowerNet's service lines: conference and meeting rooms, video walls, sound systems and the signal switching that ties displays, sources and control together. This is usually delivered alongside the network and cabling work for the same room, so a single contractor is responsible for the result.
- Yes. PowerNet designs and deploys corporate IP telephony and call centers, including call distribution and call recording, and works with Yealink handsets. The system can be built for a small office or for a call center team, and it is delivered on the same cycle as our other projects: design, installation, commissioning and support.
- Yes. Once a system is live it can be kept on a maintenance contract: network and Wi-Fi checks, server and storage administration, CCTV and access control servicing, and IP telephony support. What is covered, and how quickly we respond to a request, is set in the contract and depends on which systems are on site. Equipment carries the manufacturer's terms; obligations on the installation work itself are set out in the same contract. Write to info@powernet.uz or call +998 99 897 02 02 to discuss cover for your site in Tashkent.
- State and quasi-state buyers in Uzbekistan procure through the xarid.uzex.uz and etender.uzex.uz platforms. Send us the lot number or the technical specification at info@powernet.uz and we will confirm which parts of the scope we can cover and what documentation we can prepare for the tender.
